Karrie A. Thomas

Karrie A. Thomas, Registered Representative, began her financial career with Sheavly Financial Services Inc. in January 2001 as a part time office assistant. Prior to that she had been a member of the United States Navy and had been stationed at NAS Barbers Point in Hawaii in administration assisting several squadrons before being Honorably Discharged.

Karrie earned her Associate's Degree from Tidewater Community College and then her Bachelor's Degree in Finance from Old Dominion University in 2004. Upon her graduation from ODU, Karrie began her coursework for all of her securities and insurance licenses. She has worked full time with the Sheavly Financial Group since graduation from college and has assisted Mr. Sheavly as his Para-Planner while she continues to grow and develop her own client base as a Registered Representative of American Portfolios Financial Services, Inc. She has a strong working background of all of the aspects of running a financial planning practice and is especially interested in portfolio management, college planning and pre-retirement planning.

Karrie will begin her coursework in the near future to begin her study for the CFP® exam and within the next few years will become a Certified Financial Planner. Karrie has NASD Series 7 and 63 licenses along with Virginia Life, Health and Annuties. Karrie's NASD CRD # is 4434530.
